method:
masukkan santan, garam & gula ke dalam periuk
masak di atas api perlahan & kacau selalu supaya santan tak pecah
setelah mendidih masukkan pisang & sagu
tutup api bila sagu dah kembang & pisang empuk
**bole guna gula melaka/gula merah
**untuk wangi masukkan daun pandan
**serve it hot or cold

Pisang raja makes very good pengat and using a mix of gula melaka and gula pasir works better. Pandan is a must coz aroma plays a very important role in food enjoyment.
Another thing is mixing different types of banana works too
